VMPower has moved out of 'Beta' 🎉 and now we are offering paid plans in addition to our commitment to provide a valuable free-tier service.
The goal is to make pricing as simple as possible, while being fair to you with respect to the sizes and number of Virtual Machines you want VMPower to monitor.
You can find the latest pricing on the landing page.

Calculating Compute Cost
Each paid plan can either be a minimum charge or a percentage of your compute cost of VMPower Enabled VMs. VMPower calculates this by the number of hours your VM is detected to be on during the previous month.
Can I Chose Which VMs VMPower Monitors?
Sure! Depending on your plan, you have a number of 'VM Slots' as noted on the left side of the dashboard:
Just remove the
VMPower Enabled check on the VM in the VMPower Dashboard:
This will free up slots which you can use for other VMs. Note: Ensure that Automatically Use All VM Slots in your Account Settings is disabled as VMPower automatically enables VMs up to your plan limit.
My VM Returns to 'VMPower Enabled' After Disabling It
Ensure that Automatically Use All VM Slots in your Account Settings is disabled as VMPower automatically enables VMs up to your plan limit. This is to allow for alerts on newly provisioned VMs without having to manually add them to VMPower monitoring.
Can I Cancel Anytime?
Sure! Just cancel your subscription on the Dashboard. Your account will be prorated for the month and converted to VMPower Free.
Do You Charge by How Much I Save?
No. Although VMPower provides you a savings estimate, VMPower does not charge based on your savings. This is to avoid making you pay more for simply turning off machines.
